Nice use of MDF. It is good for more than jigs and shelves. For painted items I prefer it to plywood.

Thanks Greg. One of the great thongs about MDF is that the ends require no edge banding- just cut, lightly sand and go! Btw, Your shop bench is an inspiration for me and the reason that I decided to sign up on LJ. I’ve got a house flip to get through and then stay tuned for my own bench. I hope to Integrate a miter saw bench into it as well, without overcomplicating it too much. Cheers!
