My first project with my new Festool domino mortiser, it took much less time than conventional mortises and seems as strong.. this thing really weighs a lot, I made it bar height for stools that I now have to make.

That is an outstanding looking table. I really like the looks of the curved ends.

Very nice work.
After seeing what has made “Top 3” lately, if this doesn’t shoot to the top, there is something wrong with this site.
Thanks for sharing your talent.

Nice table, do you have the 500 or XL?

Thanks for all the comments, I have the XL Festool as most of my work is larger.. way better than a mortising machine.. I cant wait for the next project to try out my brand new Grizzly 15 inch wide belt sander!

I just got the xl and a grizzly 15” planer not to long ago haha, haven’t got to put the domino to the test yet. Just picked up some of the larger dominos today for a table I have planned, just need to get making it.

I have the 15 inch Grizzly planer as well, just replaced the main bearings on it. I found Freud cutters for $2.50 each online. I beat my planer up and it keeps going.

Great looking bar table! I like the curved breadboard ends—nice detail!
