These are fantastic! You went the extra mile with the curved bench and your efforts have been repaid handsomely in return! Very nice.

These are cool. I love the fact that you used cement for the legs.

Great benches!! I saw those plans in Workbench Magazine’s “Ultimate Outdoor Living” issue too and have been wanting to build them but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Really cool to see someone else do it. Loved the concrete stand idea from the first time I saw them. Also, great idea and execution on the curved unit! These look great and the only problem I see is that now that you’ve gone and posted these pics my wife will be requiring a set too.

Thanks a lot Colyn!! :-)

Great looking outdoor benches. I really like the concrete legs. Did you seal the concrete?

Did not seal concrete
might do it after after a couple months
was hoping to get a real weathered look
but it takes a long time to dry and didn’t want to seal
it while it was still drying

Great benches. I love the combination of wood and concrete. It makes it very modern. I also like how the benches border your deck. Gives me some good ideas too.
