This is my first bandsaw box. I looked at a lot of Youtube videos then I used a cedar 4×4 post we had left over, drew a hap-hazzard design on it and went to work. How FUN! I found an old button out of my stash I inherited from grandma, cut a small piece of cedar, drilled out a spot for the button shank and glued the button to the cedar piece and then to the box. I just used a wood sealer on the outside to finish. It smells like a little cedar chest.

That is very nice. My first band saw box was quite a bit rougher than yours.

I like the design, reminds me of a crown! You used almost all the outer perimeter for the inner drawer surface. Love that G0555!

Cheers, Jim

Very nice. Much better design than my first attempt.

Nice work.
There is a great article on bandsaw boxes in Fine Woodworking magazine last month. Worth reading.

Lovely Bandsaw Box. Very functional and very appealing to the eye. I love the idea of using the Grandma Button. Some of those “Old Grandma Buttons” Are beautiful aren’t they? Great Project!!!!!!!

Cliff.
