Daren Nelson was my inspiration to find a source of wood for my projects. I’ve looked at the photos of his sawmill and the lumber he produces and after a lot of work, here’s what I have lined up to cut this week. I don’t know what to cut first. Oh, I cut the beautiful cherry logs last week, so I guess the maple crotch is next up tomorrow. (It’s already sold and is to be cut in 2” slabs) I can’t wait to see what’s inside these logs.

Man, When I grow up I want to have as much wood as you. I love to watch the slabs being cut and seeing the wood grain revealed.

Wow, nice pile. It’s like Christmas morning trying to figure out which present to open first.
