I wanted to see if I could make a decent piece of furniture using 2×4s. I had discovered recently that the old-fashioned (not-a-big-box) lumber yard near my shop sold straight, clean, quality 2×4s. I’ve done a couple other tables and chairs since this one.

This is inspired by the famous mid-century bench by George Nelson.

Thanks. It’s Rust-Oleum Kona wood stain.
