Nice little bandsaw box made of mahogany with a tung oil finish. The inspiration was the that the knot kind of looked like an eye, so the box is eye shaped with “eyelash” drawer pulls. Black flocking lines the inside drawers.

Very well done! You did a great job of matching the curve of the pull with the curve of the drawer. That can be a difficult task sometimes. Keep up the great work!

As you say a nice little bandsawn box. You’ve captured the knot and added to and complimented the beauty of the timber, well done.

Did you carve the drawer pulls/handles, if so another big tick!

I love your creative imagination. To be able to see something in a grain pattern, then build around it is a unique talent.

Beautiful work !!

Very nicely done and a great design. The drawers appear to have more space that I first thought. Magic?
