Business card box!

Project by Roger Strautman posted 844 days ago 657 views 1 time favorited 11 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a business card box that I made a few years back. It is made from basswood and then stained. This has turned out to be a real conversation piece at carving shows.

It’s easy to see why it’s a conversation piece. It’s so very unique and beautifully made, Roger. The design is very interesting. I just love small wooden boxes.

carved pieces engender mixed emotions in me. I love the design, appreciate the intricacies, time and talent that went into them, and am simultaneously saddened thatthe natural grain of the wood has been removed. thats why i dont carve (or have tattoos)

lol
