Square Edge Bowl

This is my second square edge bowl. This one is out canary wood, which was a joy to turn and has some nice grain. I added some curve to the wings, which I think improves the appearance, but was somewhat of a chalange at my skill level.

Canary wood
Alanine dyes: black, sanded
Friction finish
Size: 8 ” X 2 “

Another beauty, Rich!

I have yet to figure out how you sand these and not beat the heck out of your knuckles.

I really love this bowl the best out of the series. The way the grain follows from the square section to the concave bowl section is mesmerizing.

Amazing working if you are new to turning, even if you are not new to it. Beautiful.
