This is a project that I saw on a TV woodworking show and thought – hey, I can make one of those. This chair is made of cypress and finished with a light stain.

These are great, sturdy, portable chairs, and they look good too!

Those are really Neat. Where could one find either plans or measurements for sides?

My wife has been wanting me to make some of these. A few years ago I think the plans were in Wood Magazine, but I have piles of magazines to dig through to find them.

You did a great job, it’s a nice looking chair.

Yep, those are nice looking chairs. They don’t take up much space.

Here is a folding chair design I did around 3 years ago.
I made about 30 of them for friends and for sale. I used common lumber, curved pieces c/f 2×8’s and slats from 1×2’s.
