This wall plaque was a first year anniversary present for my daughter and son-in-law.
I designed the plaque using the Aspire CAD/CAM software. The 3D whale model was supplied with the Aspire software. I machined the plaque using my new Shop Sabre 23 CNC machine. It took me about 2 hours to design the plaque and another two hours to cut the plaque.

The dimensions of the plaque is 10” x 12” x1”. The material is mahogany.

And incase anyone is wondering, there is not a spelling error. Wale is their last name.

That’s all beautifully resolved, the way the whale is carved out of the dish shape. It feels very organic and I was surprised to read that the whale was carved by a machine.
