Its a story of a mad man as I was actually a science student doing advance biochemistry. But as luck would have it I was forced to go180 degrees and land in an art college: national college of arts (NCA) and became go it t first qualified ceramist or ceramics designer. Lens, camera & wood became my obsession24/7. Camera & Ad Production good news financial support & I would spend that on wood & words -burning or Pyrography. Limited income forced to improvise & fabricator my wood working gadgets; I wouldn’t call them tools. I had to cut & prepared wooden shapes & canvases & in those days only lens & Sun helped me complete my projects through months of sitting in scoring sunlight.
Gradually as time went by I was picked up by Pakistan television as one of pioneers. Word & probably was still my obsession. Over time, going through using heated metal pointers, then soldering iron and finally I kind of invented my first temperature controlled electronic burned by modifying a car battery charter. Oh I felt like on top of the world. I had also made my 45 degrees metre cutting jig & also Pinning device for wooden framing. I also fabricated a glass groundhog jig out o of wood & a drill machine. I also added lots of wood working have tools.
I was rolling happy as I could cut & prepare my wood for Pyrography and also make impressive frames for all of my art work. Now I can make my own furniture items according to my specific needs..
I will share one of my articles: MY TELL TALE PYROGRAPHY, recently published in USA & I was paid for that!
I AM retired now & really enjoy my self -made, self -designed world: WORKSHOP!
