I just completed an Intarsia piece of a Falcon. I read up a little and they can exceed 200 MPH when diving to hit their prey.
I used Butternut, Walnut, Padauk, Sycamore, Yellowheart, Aromatic Red Cedar, Poplar, and Soft Maple.

Very nice…the combination of woods, cutting and shaping are excellent.

Verne, that is beautiful! I think I am a pretty good portrait scroller, but I stand in awe of you intarsia artists.

Absolutely amaizing various wood colours. Project turned out great, incredible details, very authentic motive and looks so alive.
