A friend’s barn was destroyed in a tornado a few years back, and I salvaged as much of the wood as I could. I made several pieces of furniture out of the wood, which was said to be a hundred years old. As you can see, I left some of the original red paint in the wood. Just cuz I like it. I carved out the rose patterns, then painted them. Was just alot of fun to build it. And, gave me so much more room in the bedroom. I was able to remove two dressers.

Beautiful. Nice work, a piece to be proud of.

Great design and execution. I like the reuse of the material from the destroyed barn. Out of disaster comes beauty.

Keep up the good work.
