Here is a bookcase project I recently finished up for my daughter. It is 50” tall x 31” wide x 14” deep.
Made from solid cherry locally sourced from a sawyer who came across a tree from a downed storm last year.
The dovetail work is my largest case piece of that size. The wood grain has really popped with the Watco danish oil finish I used.

That’s awesome. The stuffed animals make me think your daughter may be too young to appreciate it now, but someday she’s going to realize you put a lot of time and love into that gift.
