I finally decided to add some much needed clamp storage to the shop. Previously I just had them all jammed in 3 paint buckets. I was always pulling out multiple clamps, had clamps lying all over the place and it literally made me frustrated / depressed.

Since Most of my clamps were 3/4” pipe I started there. I modified the plans on the Concord Carpenters website to be slightly beefier and hold more clamps. I had planned on making custom racks for each style of clamp but realized the pipe racks worked for most clamps and scrapped the custom rack idea. For my F-clamps a simple (2×4) screwed to the studs made the mosr sense to me. The quick clamps ended up getting slid over a 2×4 as well. So now all my clamps are neat and easily accessible. None of the storage solutions are ground breaking but they were relatively simple and worked quite well.

I can’t believe I waited this long to organize my clamps.

Well, you shouldn’t be depressed with that set up. I have the same problem. I have them hung up, but all over the place. I need to keep them in one place like you have. Thanks for sharing
