This is a bench I made for our back door area. The tops are sycamore stained with minwax red oak finished with rattle can gloss poly and 4 coats of paste wax. The sides are sanded ply and the front panel is soft maple both finished with rattle can heirloom white by rustolium. The top opens for hat a glove storage while there is open storage on the bottom for shoes. The white paint was done to match the kitchen cabinets near the area and the panel front was designed to match the door panels on the cabinets as well. I used the table saw cut the panels for the front using a 5 degree angle after making a relief cut 1/16” deep. Comments, critiques and questions always welcomed. Thanks for looking.
