Cutting Board #2

I’ve only been woodworking since summer 2014 and this is the second cutting board that I’ve made. It turned out a lot better than I originally thought it would. I used ash, padauk, and cherry and finished it with bees wax. I wound up giving it to my brother since he’s pretty good in the kitchen and I thought that he could put it to good use. He hung it up on the wall. :-|

Welcome to LumberJocks.

Very nice looking pattern. I am sure your brother will appreciate it.

Whether that’s your 1st attempt or 50th, it looks great!
Congratulations!

I love the dimensional look, if I was your brother I would have hung up on the wall too, looks to nice for a cutting board.

Great work, I like the combination of the 3rd tumbling cubes and traditional striped CB.

Great job! I know that took a lot of tedious assembly.

Excellent Job. I know how you feel about your brother hanging it. I made a really nice one for my daughter and she refuses to use it. Displays it on her kitchen counter. Who woulda thunk?
