I’d been wanting a garden bench for a while…so when the contest was announced there was no turning back. A month goes by very quickly in the summer but here it is. I have to hit the road tomorrow but managed to get a few pitures before the light faded too much.
It made this out of ash (yes it’s quite heavy, don’t think anyone will be stealing this anytime soon) I think it will end up down at our firepit as we are in need of some nicer seating in the area.

Nice bench, what kind of finish are you going to be putting on it. Looks like the seat boards haven’t been attached as yet. I like the design of this also.

Very nice. I’ve been wanting to build a bench to put down at the school bus stop at the corner of our property…this would be great!

Yeah Max, you caught me, I wasn’t quite finished and the light was fading so I took it outside for some pics before it was too dark. I had to head out the next day for holidays so was my last chance to get it in before the contest deadline! It is fully assembled but still waiting on a finish to be determined as of yet.
