I finished this up last night. It’s a wedding gift for my best friend and his lovely new wife. It’s made from birch, cherry, maple, Peruvian walnut, Chatke viga and purpleheart. I learned some lessons the hard way while making it, but I think the end result turned out pretty well.

EDIT: I ended up making four of these for Christmas gifts. I added a pic of one that went to my mom as a gift.
