I made a pattern and cast the bronze hanging knees. The furnace I made out of kaowool. and the elm I milled from a street tree that was being cut down. Used and Alaskan saw mill with a 6 foot bar then hand planed the top. The drying process took 3 years. The packed sand mold weighed about 300 lbs. The actual bronze knees weigh about 34 lbs.
