This is a six and a half foot tall cabinet humidor that I have been working on when time permits for a while now that is finally done! The cabinet carcass is cabinet grade birch veneered ply, with a solid birds eye maple face frame. The lower table is all solid birds eye maple with a gentle arc on the legs. the interior is lined in solid Spanish cedar with trays of wormy maple ply that I had custom pressed, with a solid black walnut top trim, and set at 20 degree angle for viewing. The interior was coated with a sealer coat of lacquer and then the entire exterior got eight coats of lacquer and sanding. Humidification is by cigar oasis( magna series). This unit should store a couple thousand cigars. Interior volume is eight cubic feet.

For the interior, did you seal the Spanish Cedar or just the trays?

No the interior before I installed the cedar lining. It’s just to minimize any potential humidity related movement

The trays are also lacquered and allowed to cure outside of the unit before installing them to avoid contaminating the cedar

Another beautiful humidor Rob, this one is really over the top, a real work of art. Congratulations on a magnificent build.
