Specifications:
> Blade: 6A Stainless Steel, 4-1/8” long blade, 1” wide, and 1/8” thick.
> Blade Guard: Yellow Brass, hand shaped from solid bar stock
> Handle: Kansas Shed Elk Antler
> Inlay: Pre-Ban Elephant Ivory
> Scrimshaw Art: Large Mouth Bass, original artwork by M. DeCou
Project Story:
This knife was ordered as a gift for a friend of the customer. The friend loves to fish in Oklahoma, and Large Mouth Bass is his favorite fish to hunt. The scrimshaw artwork on this knife is my own original art, and has been scratched with a knife point and round pointed scribe tool. The scrimshaw has been done on a piece of pre-ban Elephant Tusk Ivory that was inlayed in the end of the handle. I also made a custom leather sheath for this knife to be carried on a waist belt.
Thanks for looking,

thanks guys, I’m just about finished with two Maloof-style rockers, which has kept me busy all this summer without much time for anything else. I’m waiting on a coat of finish to dry on the last rocker this morning, so I ran in to post some projects I hadn’t uploaded before. Next on the list is a walnut gun stock I’m carving with a Wild Turkey scene. I’m so thankful that I’m still finding work to stay busy with.
