This is a small drawing desk I made for my niece’s birthday. I used 3/4” baltic birth plywood for the top and framed it with poplar to provide a small lip around the edges. This keeps crayons and other utensils from falling off. I painted the poplar and finished the top with a darker minwax stain and several coats of lacquer. It gets some good use over at their house!
