I made this small planter out of some bloodwood and walnut cut-offs. I finished the inside with epoxy for a waterproof seal and the outside with a glossy oil-base poly.

The calculation of the bevel angle for ripping the strips is pretty straightforward – 180/number of sides. Enjoy!

I always wondered how you would figure the angles for something like that. This formula works for every box. The sum of the angles always equal 180 degrees i just never thought of it. Thanks for the tip and nice work.
