Wooden Shoulder Plane

This wooden shoulder plane is made from maple and cherry. I was inspired by many similar projects here on LJ. I got the blade from Hock Tools, and I must say it’s a very nice blade.

I’ve been practicing hand cutting tenons for mortise and tenon joinery and thought a shoulder plane might help clean up the shoulders.
