Made this for my teenage son, made of more of that recycled maple, inlayed mahogany strips in the head board and armoire doors. Head board was maple flooring my neighbor was throwing out and drawer fronts and inlays where from an old mantle. Made the bed a pedestal to look like it is floating and to avoid stuff being hidden underneath.
