Made this for my teenage son, made of more of that recycled maple, inlayed mahogany strips in the head board and armoire doors. Head board was maple flooring my neighbor was throwing out and drawer fronts and inlays where from an old mantle. Made the bed a pedestal to look like it is floating and to avoid stuff being hidden underneath.

Nice job, who would believe it is made from reclaimed wood.

This is a very nice bed and it has a very practical and functional design. The wood is also nice.
