I made this in woods class. I used four pieces of laminated White Birch for the box. I chose my design because I wanted it to resemble a dresser. I thought that this design was simple yet accomplished that goal. I used a water-based stain since it has no fumes and it is much easier to use. The stain was called antique cherry, and I used it because I thought it was consistent with the color of the dressers in my room. I used a polycrylic finish, which was satin. I chose satin becuase I didn’t want anything too shiny, I just wanted it to protect the wood from any possible damages. I feel very proud of this project and I worked hard on it.
