This is a bandsaw box I made out of Ambrosia Maple. It was a project done for a woodworking course over at the University of New Hampshire. The top two drawers (on the sides) are semicircles which have a handmade lazy susan mechanism attached to the bottom. The middle drawer is similar to that you may see on a tackle box. The drawer pulls out and two top compartments can be lifted aside to reveal a larger drawer underneath. The bottom drawer is a standard drawer, nothing special.
The finish is Bush Oil which is a great finish if any of you are looking for a new finish to try. It is similar to the Watco finishes but I feel that I get a better finish using the Bush Oil. This box holds all my pen blanks and kits so now I’m one step closer to having an organized shop!
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions are always welcomed.
