I recently finished this pair of adirondack chairs. It was my first project after a 3-year hiatus from woodworking. I was stationed in England with the Air Force for those three years and didn’t have the room for woodworking. Anyway, I’m glad to be back at it now that I’m back in the US of A.
The chairs were made out of cedar and stained with Cabot’s cherry stain. I then used a couple coats of marine varnish to protect them. The design I used was a combination of a plan from Woodsmith and one from New Yankee Workshop. I’m pretty happy with the way they turned out & they make great deck chairs by the pool.
