This is a platter I made for my brother’s upcoming wedding. It is made out of black walnut and birdseye maple. I had it engraved to add a little touch. This is part 1 of his wedding gift, part 2 is much bigger but anyways, I hope he likes it.

I’m sure they will both love it. Excellent gift idea – personal for them and a reminder of you forever.

Neat idea, very original and certainly custom. I can be certain in saying he will not be recieivin another gift like that from anyone else at his gathering.

Seen your projects in the “we love to work the wood” section. First off I visited you projects and website and very nice work. Very creative designs that are useful and practical.

Howeve I had a question on the engraving you had done on your brothers platter. My question is at ont point during the prject did you get this engraved. Would you engrave it before finishing? Or can you apply all the finish and allow it to cure then get engaved? I assumed this is a laser engraving, but can you enlgihten me? I am very eager to get a pen engraved and figured I’d ask you if you don’t mind.

Thanks
