I made these for my mom and will be delivering in August.
Walnut and Birdseye Maple
It was my first time cutting box joints. They came out decent, had some minor tearout issues.
I had no plans really, just made some templates and a prototype and went from there.
Comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome.

nice trays. gives me an idea for all the free red oak scraps and quarter inch ply i get from the local stair company. also good gifts for upcoming Christmas. great finish on those too. did you do the finger joints by hand or use the table saw?

Jimmy. I used a Leigh jig, which worked well. I had some minor tear out issues even though I use several precautions, it may have been my router bit..
