this was the 2nd thing I ever made,I built this about 7 years ago.The only tools I had was a bench top table saw,jig saw, hand drill, hand held router and a belt sander.I this simi rough lumber I jointed all the wood with a router plywood and a patern bit.I told myself If I could do this I would invest in tools.

Hi Phil,
Nice job! I’m guessing you have a lot of tools now.
Where’s all the junk, that I normally see on desks?

That’s one beautiful finish you put on your desk! Even with limited tools you were very talented and made a great desk. Thanks for sharing.

Isn’t it great to be able to make something with a limited amount of tools?

Great desk. It’s impressive what can be done with a limited tool set and a good supply of ingenuity. I started with a similar collection of low budget tools and I really appreciate what I have now.

The raised paneled ends are a nice touch.
Did you by any change dovetail the drawers?
