I just completed 2 book matched solid black walnut shelves for a client. They measure 34”L x 10”D x 3”H and can support upwards of 60lbs.

Wow – the pictures really show how this was done. I think it may be a bit better than some articles of how to make these.

Where did you get the hangers? Did you weld the steel?

Nicely done. I was just discussing a similar project with a potential client.

How much does each shelf weigh?

-- Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, cut it with an axe.
