A few door stops that I turned this afternoon. The light colored stops are oak but I’m not sure what the other wood is. It looks a little like walnut but has white streaks throughout. It was really tight grained, brittle and tough to turn but I love the color. I turned random knobs on each end then cut them diagonally on the band saw. I left the saw marks on the bottom for texture to help hold them in place. The finish is just wax. Thanks for looking.
