This is a Shaker inspired side table for my 93 year old mom. It is made out of figured maple and walnut.

Beautifully refined table – beveled top and tight dovetails, while using some really nice wood. Enjoyed looking at your past projects, and will check out your previously recommended book by Walker “By Hand and Eye”. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Rod, only been at woodworking a short time. But after looking at your projects I can see you are a man with similar tastes. I am a big Maloof fan and bought the Stan Brock low back video. I planned on doing them in Mahogany to go with my Grandpas table I refinished. I may do a few more projects first but am really looking forward to getting started on those. Any input on your low back build would be greatly appreciated.

I admire Maloof’s work, as well as his generosity of spirit. I sent you a message on your low back project.
