This Plaque is 9×12 x 1-1/4 thick. Made from two pieces of MDF glue up. 3/4”and 1/2” glued together for 1-1/4 thickness. Once all the carving was complete, Painted in a Gray Stone look spray paint. Then hand painted the skull, lettering and cracks. Have to give Kudos to Rust-oleum Stone Textured Finish Paint. It gave this plaque a great look. The Plaque hangs by our front door now for the ghost and goblins to come by. I have it a couple of coats of clear poly. To give us years of use of this plaque. Happy Holloween All. ! !

I like it. Carving MDF must be heck on your tools.

It’s very creative and nice work. I’ve never seen MDF used for something like this but in this case it certainly seems to work. Congratulations.
