Nice solid mallets. Is the Poplar one heavy enough to be effective? Poplar allways seemed like a lighter wood to me.
Like the burn line accents.

yeah, the poplar is way to light…. just had a scrap chunk in the shop so i thought i would use it as practice. The lathe is still so new to me…

Light mallets are needed too. Nice looking mallets. For that light touch.
