It would make a beautiful box top or back splat for a chair. Really nice job. I have been meaning to try some inlay.

I think this is going to be a wall hanging. Christmas gift for sister-in-law.
I am going to try it again with different colors.
Just for the info, I think this is considered marquetry. Inlay is when you create a design and the cut the whole thing into solid wood. The trim on my Dalma piece is inlay but the picture is marquetry. It all is a bit confusing but I know what you mean.
