Great looking table! Can I ask what type of joinery you used between the top boards and the mitered edge boards? (if that makes any sense).

Patrick,
The 4 top boards are splined and glued together, as are the 8 pieces of the top frame (not an easy clamp job).
The central 4 boards are not fastened at all to the octogonal frame…just a tight fit.
