Found some curly maple at the local box store (someone at the factory must not have realized what they had when they packed it) and decided to make this. My wife has been asking for one, and since it wasn’t enough to make a major project with, I went ahead and did it.

Nice peal, I made a number of these for a kitchen store and they want more, but don’t want to give me a good price on them as they mark them up 100%. will have to check your site out. we are both brian. I ended up keeping one for myself, a cull. of course, and like it very much. |I made the whole body tapered by when it was going through the thickness planer just lowered the thickness adjustment. That’s why their customers like them so much. Keep up the good work.

I thought about building a sled to run it through the planer to taper the entire thing, but decided against it.
