I wanted to make a bed that fit into a slightly shorter space so hand drew out a race car profile on MDF, cut it with a jigsaw, routed it smooth and then made 3 d features which really makes the bed pop out. The red racing wing and the race car flag designs were nice finishing touches. Figuring out how to get the flag pattern took some time. Essentially you paint the board white, lay tape over the entire thing, slice curves in both directions, remove every second square and then paint in black. The wheels are real hub caps. My 4 year old boy nearly fainted when he saw it.

That is beautifully done and the kids will love it. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.
