This welcome sign was also created for our vet and sits (or stands actually) in his waiting room. My LJ hubby, LJ, used a template he made (he has created several of these nice goldens) and routed the golden from a sheet of 1/2” plywood.
I then cut the Welcome lettering into it and painted it. I thought a shadow look with gold letters would work best in the fluroescent lighting of a waiting room.
Then LJ built the slotted base for it and screwed the feet to the base. Voila.
For proportions, the dog itself measures 29” high to the top of its head and 40” from nose to tip of tail.
