This project started out by trying to figure out how to use an old drawer I used in a previous shop fixture. Yes it was a big drawer.

I move my table saw around a lot so I wanted something I could easily detach and move with it. I put a piece of angle iron behind the original fence in the back, glued some plywood and cut a dado to the width of the angle iron ( A little tight ). Simply screwed the laminated plywood with the dado into the drawer ( now out feed table ), added some legs, added a Brazilian cherry border from some flooring scraps from work and called it good with a coat of paint and shellac.

Thanks for looking,

Paul

Looks like a good job of repurposing – a little ingenuity goes a long way.

Thanks for sharing.
