Had some play time so thought I would see what a couple of mods to my ‘down & out’ bowl would look like. These are all made on my RingMaster with simple poplar. No sense wasting good wood if it doesn’t work out, right?

The first pic shows what I call a ‘fat lip’ bowl, an initial design ‘down & out’ bowl and then a combination of the two techniques. I have some other ideas in mind for this technique but that will have to wait for a bit.

The second pic is a little better look at the two ‘d & o’ bowls.

Comments, and especially critiques are welcomed. Design suggestions are always welcomed.

Thanx for looking.

They are unique – which is good. I have a RM but am having trouble resetting the blades. Once I get that squared away I may have to try this type of design – looks like there can be a lot of variations on the theme.
