Hello everyone, This is my first end grain cutting board. The size is 12” x 17” x 1.25”. It is made from a scrap piece of hard maple I had laying around. The finish is velvet oil. I have plans on making more and mixing woods together. I would like to thank the many lumberjocks who educate on this site. Because of you this was quite fun to build. Ron

I am suspicious. That can’t be your first. It’s too artistic!

Great selection of wood and grain pattern! If that’s your first one, can’t wait to see the next one. Super build and finish.

thanks everyone for the nice comments. blackcherry, velvit oil was bought at woodcraft. It is an penetrating oil-varnish blend. It is food safe.
