This is my lazy susana she is made out of various woods she is almost a perf circle thanks to my handsome woodshop teacher and his very intelligent tips, i planed every wood to make it smooth and edge glued the wood together, she spins and not only at a slow rate but also a fast rate like a rollar coaster. I polyed my project twice, something i learned it is hard to make a perfect circle and somthing i would have done different i wouldn’t of polyed it i liked her better not shiny but shes still a 10 in my eyes

When I first saw the photo I thought it was a shot of the planet Jupiter!
But then I looked closer and read the description to find out it is a beautiful lazy susan!
A really nice project.
Keep up the good work!

Bruce, that looks terrific! I love the use of the Spalted Walnut, I’m glad it found a good home. Also, Kudos to your handsome, intelligent shop teacher for helping you achieve a near-perfect circle!
