With just a bit of the reclaimed pine left over from re-building Grandpa's Hutch, I had one piece long around 4 feet long and full with, I stared at the piece for a while and decided, yup, it’s gotta be a table. a couch table or library table, or high table, or one of the other dozen names I have heard for this style of table, Personally I guess I end up calling it a library table myself but what do I know.
It has a shallow drawer for keys and small items and usually lives in our entryway becoming the drop place for wallets, cell phones, purses and junk mail. where we live now we do not generally use the door it is by so it ends up loaded with items of decor… and it holds a bunch of family photo albums nicely underneath…
You will notice in one of the pictures that I ran out of the reclaimed pine and was forced to cut the back legs from new boards… not what I wanted to do but better than trying to stand a table on just 2 legs :) this piece has also been in use for several years now and has held up wonderfully.
