I’m enterning the bench not the baby! Her name is Haley, I’m a brand new grandfather first one at age 60. so I made her a bench, for when she turns 60. Just kidding she can use it now. ..... The bench…....... I worked very hard…... Because I didn’t know what I was doing. ....You be the judges . This is wormey chestnut /no stain /bees wax finish . built solid great for large people like me. that’s my best up to this point. Thankyou Grampata!

A very unique design. Your Grandchild is also a winner!

I would put both of those winners in my garden. (assuming the parents were standing by for diaper changes, spit ups etc, after all training parents is part of grandpas duties too.)

Thanks for all the comments. They hit the spot! Winning is not as importan’t as building something that you can use. The pioneers built everything they needed. The house, outhouse, all the furniture, barns ,coops and fences. The few project we make now is just wood candy, for the ones we love. I’m satified that I have already taken the grand prize, and your comments are the candy I need for my ego. Thankyou everyone for sharing your candy with me, your project inspire me . I get great joy from seeing them. So please feel free to join me at .http://mobilegourmet.webs.com/ Where I host funny stories, a cartoon caption contest and also a biggest looser contest . Just look in the forem for anthhing thats….... by Grampata good luk ! I will be voting for your projects.. I hpoe you win ! Grampata….. PS you will laugh

Great bench grandpa, I love the rugged look. Isn’t funny how these grand daughters end up in every picture. Good luck in the contest.

Love the bench, it’s very different. You did a great job! I could use one too, not the bench, a grandchild. Still waiting.
