If you have a RingMaster you will recognize the first two pictures. If you detest throwing leftovers into the burn barrel you may recognize the second two pictures.
Picture one and two are the first cut of 2 bowls on the RM. I had several like this and just couldn’t bear to discard them. I glued them together, spent more time than a sane person would in sanding and brushing 5 coats of polyeurathane on them and laid them on the bench for about a month. Finally my wife asked what they were for and I didn’t have an answer so she took them.
The third and fourth pictures are the result of my wifes imagination and handy work. I will most likely take them to our next craft show and sell them for $5 (or should I just give them away ?)
Thanks for looking and save your scraps, they ARE good for something.

Nice salvage of your off-cuts, and upcycle by your wife. Great little projects for a craft show.

Dick, I am the same way…must have over 100 of the 1st ring from a RM bowl. We could also attach a mirror to the back. Some rings I use for a finished different look to the top of the bowl

Well done Dick. I’ve often been tempted to use those drops – just haven’t gotten around to it. You used yours well.
